Volunteer Position Descriptions

Below are our various volunteer positions that we need you to help fill! Click the checkbox next to each position you're interested in.

You're someone who loves leadership and has a passion for guiding kids as a role model! During the camp week, you'll be assigned to a group of campers who you'll be supervising throughout the day. You'll move through the various camp stations alongside them, supporting the volunteer station leaders while helping the campers to have fun while remaining on track with the camp's schedule. As a group leader, you'll want to get to know your campers, becoming a mentor and friend to help foster their relationship with Jesus.

You're someone who gets excited about leading fun and engaging activities. Each of our camps includes hands-on, creative - and sometimes messy - stations. Do you have a unique talent or passion? Help lead one of the specialized stations at each of our camps. Potential stations include crafts, recreation, Bible, snacks, and STEM. As a station leader, you'll be an integral part of creating those fun memories that campers will hold onto their whole lives!

Some of our campers need a bit more attention than others. A Camp Buddy will be partnered up with a specific child during their stay at the camp. You'll help to maximize the camper's experience by providing assistance to him/her in areas outlined by the camper's parent or guardian. This may include assisting in things like physical fine/gross motor tasks, preparing the child for transitioning to another activity, or taking the child for a quick break to cool down. Our camps are dedicated to making sure every camper has the best experience possible, and we need patient, compassionate volunteers to help us serve each child to the best of our ability!

Do you dance? Do you sing? Do you delight in worshipping the LORD?? Then we need you as a music actions leader! In the mornings, we want to pump up the campers to get them excited for camp while teaching them to songs that proclaim the wonders of God's truth. You'll be up in front of the kids doing the actions to classic and fresh worship jams. You'll need high energy and a great big smile to get the kids charged up and excited for the coming day!

Like a ninja, you'll be working behind-the-scenes during camp presentations on the big stage. Using the church's AV tech, you'll be tasked with playing videos and showing pictures on the projector screens, as well as changing the lighting and managing microphones. If you're someone with an appreciation for presentation and talents with technology, we need you!

Camps take a lot of work, and we can't do it without you. There's a lot of stuff that needs to be completed beforehand, like decoration and supply gathering. But it's not just hard work and no play! Camp setup is a fun time where we can work together and get to know one another without supervising kids. Creative people with an eye for detail are great prospects for camp prep work!

Do you have first aid training and a passion for working with children? Help keep our campers safe at camp by providing minor first aid for cuts, scrapes, bumps, and bruises.

Do you love variety, staying on your toes, and being the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps everything running smoothly? The Camp Floater/Substitute Volunteer provides flexible support across camp to ensure daily activities run smoothly. This role assists staff and group leaders by filling in where needed, running errands, completing miscellaneous tasks, and helping maintain an organized and efficient camp environment.
